In Cloudia Sourcing, you can set criteria-specific points and maximum points for price and/or quality. Additionally, scoring weights (relates to the setting of price points) can be set for the objects being procured. If criteria-specific points are set for the procurement object, the tenderer’s points can be determined solely based on them, or maximum points for price and quality can also be included in the scoring philosophy, in which case these will also be taken into account in the scoring of the tenderers. If price points are used, the criteria-specific points will be calculated on top of the price points (the ‘relationship to the smallest’ or ‘linear’ calculation method will be used in the price comparison), and the maximum quality points will be given to the tenderer who received most criteria-specific points (the quality maximum points are compared using the ‘relationship to the largest’ formula).

The points are set by entering the maximum points in the maximum points field and by selecting how the points are to be calculated
The score calculation method to be set depends on the type of the criterion
- Numeric
- Relationship to the largest (automatic)
- (tendered value/largest entered value) * maximum points
- Relationship to the smallest (automatic)
- (smallest entered/tendered value) * maximum points
- Relationship to the largest, linear (automatic)
- Relationship to the largest if no minimum value has been defined for the criterion: (tendered value - smallest entered value) / (largest entered value - smallest entered value) * maximum points
- Relationship to the largest if a minimum value has been defined for the criterion: (tendered value - minimum value) / (largest entered value - minimum value) * maximum points
- Relationship to the smallest, linear (automatic)
- Relationship to the smallest if no maximum value has been defined for the criterion: (1- I(tendered value - smallest entered value)I / I(largest entered value - smallest entered value)I) * maximum points
- Relationship to the smallest if a maximum value has been defined for the criterion: (1- I(tendered value - smallest entered value)I / I(maximum value - smallest entered value)I) * maximum points
- Relationship to the largest (automatic)

- Define whether the selection will be restricted:
- ‘Selection not restricted’ – the tenderer may leave the item unanswered or select a desired number of options
- ‘Choose not more than one’ – the tenderer may leave the item unanswered or select one option
- ‘Choose at least one’ – the tenderer must choose at least one option, but more than one can also be selected
- ‘Choose one’ – the tenderer must choose one option
- Define the options by typing the selection in the ‘New selection row’ field and the points it yields in the ‘Points’ field

General criteria and their scoring
Procurement not divided into lots
In a procurement that has not been divided into lots, the points added to common criteria will be added on top of the total score. In the comparison, the points will be shown like this:

Procurement divided into lots
In a procurement divided into lots, the points added to common criteria will be added on top of the score of each sub-area, so the comparison will look like this:
